    13 pages on Mia Hamm plus the cover. Great story. I have a whole lot of more respect for her after reading it.

    Wow. Just a great magazine article. The reportage and writing are worthy of the New Yorker's best profiles.

    Oh, and the subject: Mia Hamm is an amazing person from a remarkable family. She's enigmatic and complex, but her humanity and sense of responsibility and love for those around her is clear.

    She will be missed after Athens 2004. I wish nothing but happiness to her and Nomar.
