    'splain dis again.

How is a player able to average 13.83 points per game (I assume)?

Using the MFLS scoring system he would have to average over three goals per match ...

Points are not MLS points nor MFLS points but a measure of week-to-week "impressiveness" compared to his peers at his position. These points also are an integrated quantity, not normalized per week. A consistently impressive player would score 2 pts every week and would be close to 40 points by this time.

The premise here is that what really matters for a fantasy manager is what players do in a particular week. So the best possible lineup is identified for each week. To come up with some integrated measure to figure out who is best over the course of the season, I devised the overall rating system.

Of course, the fantasy manager has other things to worry about like player cost and how that player does in those weeks when he is not "impressive", which aren't accounted for in my measure.

Then how can Kreis be the top forward if he has scored a grand total of 1 goal and two assists in the last nine weeks?

(Not counting last night. But he didn't score then either ...)

He's colder than my ex wife ...

With a 13.83 point, Jason Kreis had to have been a top performer in the league in at least 7 weeks. I have an archive of each week at
    https://www.bigsoccer.com/forum/showthread.php?threadid=8578

    Kreis showed up on weeks 4 (2 pts), 6 (1.5), 7 (2), 12 (1.5), 13 (2), 15 (1.33), 16 (1.5), and 21 (2).
