Fire your Coach: The manager will be able to replace his coach once during the year (using a transfer). One more sub: The bench size has been expanded to 7. This will give each manager 2 substitute players for each field position and a goalkeeper. A little more cash: The Salary Cap has been increased to 2300, in part to allow for the increased bench size. Forums: MFLS now has a forum for each division and a league wide forum with hopes to provide more communications between you and your competitors. Improved Layout: Site layout and navigation has been improved slightly, especially for the team pages I thought they might cut the cap (was it 2150?) or at least cut the number of transfers back a bit. Apparently the limit will be 33. Lineup selection will be open March 5.
Anyone up for joining the BSSM Premiere League division this year? Last year we had a pretty competitive division with some top teams.
I'm definitely up for it again. I'd love to have a chance to defend my title. I wish I had kept the end of year standings for last year... all of the weekly updates were wiped out by one of the Great BigSoccer crashes... One of our members, Engineers (managed by Jim Kulenguskey) tied for 2nd last year in the prediction league. I didn't do quite that well but was perhaps one of the only people to finish in top 25 in both competitions. I'll be thrilled if I come anywhere close to matching my luck from last year. \_o_/ Team Manager
