I have taken it upon myself to get this project going this time we can get it to work and to ensure that nothing goes wrong i have enlisted the services of "el Sheriff" Sidspaceman P.I who will overlook the project and make sure none of you fruitcakes start with your faggety ideas midway through the Draft.. Now this time its first come first served, no more gay random drawings and if we can get 10 participants that will be good enough as the season is about to end and this will be a Beta testing so if it works out we can get it started for next season.. New Rules : No more skipping a person that is late. We will just have to wait untill they make their pick. Trades will only be allowed after all participants have their squads chosen..

i dont see the problem of trading..

trading during the draft is not complicated. SOme of yous made it into rocket science..

    assume scenerio...

    Round 3.

    7. juan blow
    8. jean blow
    9. juan from bakersfield
    10. gallo negro

assume I have Oscar Olvera (R2 pick of mine) and VS wants him... so before he picks... he sends me an email, PM, etc.. says if i want to trade...

if I want an even swap.. then no ons loses a draft pick...

IF I say ill trade him but want your draft pickk..

well... i take his spot in that particular round and also draft in my round...

    we could do the rule...

maximun one trade per person... and it its not an even swap... the most draft picsk you can take is 2 froms omeone...

trading after the draft kind of defeats the purpose of trading..

Sorry RDL but no trades.. We messed up big time and have to keep this easy flowing.. If you want to trade a player you can negotiate via PM and arrange something so that when the draft is over the trade can be done quickly..

How about a 15 minute time limit for trades after the end of each round? For example round one ends then there are 15 minutes for trades before round two starts.

    trades are easy..

    think about it....

before you pick a draft... you can pick a trade... nothing hard about that

    assume 10 guys play...

that means you have to wait 10 times before you pick again....

so during that time... if some one want sto trade with me or who ever... come to an agreement before the round starts... say.. i have so and so... so and so has my round X draft pick

Thing is not everyone is logged on at the same time.. so if we have a time limit many people will not get to trade. Part of the reason we messed up last time was that we tried to hurry it up and then the Trades just got out of hand. Then when people that missed their picks came back everything just got messed up even more..

RDL i will compromise if the draft is going well for the first 5 rounds then we can start with the trades if not then will will just have to carry on. Also there are only three participants so far so we should wait untill we get enough people to make this happen before disagreeing on how the Draft should be run..

this is how we should make our picks:

With the first pick of the MFL Draft I select: Cesar Delgado.

everthing is good for me but we should start an MFL Fantasy League Recap Thead, so we dont have to write down all the picks so far... thats why some people got confused...

    example:

RDL the rules thingy is cool but let us get the participants and then have actual teams remember this is just a beta version, heh so lets not try to get ahead of ourselves. Look what i said about people with their faggety rules and heres Machetazo who f'cked it all up last time now saying that he joins but has to be last place. He will be 4th in line if not he can choose not to participate..

idiot, i f'ed up? IIRC, it was you and imgeyled that started bitching about my trades. before i made my trades you all knew that we could make trades. then you go ahead and choose all your team when everyone else only has 10? what a laugh.

look all I know... that Levante and I were not there in the chat... and round 9 was about to start. Everyone had 8 picks and the ones who didnt had a "not present" and when i arrived... certain people had 18.. other had 9... others had x amount...

how it all got like that.. I dont know... but there were no rules...

even it they would have written... NOT PRESENT... would have been cool...

NOW... there are rules... people have something to go buy...

i will also assign a tag number to each player...

    for example...

    all goal keepers will have

    GK001 Memo Ochoa
    GK002 Adolfo Rios
    etc

    all defenders
    DF001 Max Cuberas
    DF001 Sergio Almaguer etc

    and so on ...

    SO.....

what I need .. i need some volunteers...

I need some to do assign those tag numbers... to all defenders, to all goalkeepers, to all mid, to all forwards.....

    so there is no confusion...

    backs, centerbacks are defenders
attacking mids and def mids are mids

    all assign the defenders...

who wants to assign numbers to the goal keepers, mids, and forwards

as soon as we finish it.. everyone can print it out... and check off... i think people going back and forth... people got confused... and picked the same players

    ill do the keepers.

EDIT. VS, if u want this to be fair then there should be a draw for draft order like last time. that's the only fair way. u cant just be 1st place because u want to, as you say, that's not fair! ;)
