According to CNN our NT players are worth 95mil. http://www.mediotiempo.com/futbol/s...2009/12/08/le-ponen-precio-al-tri-vale-95-mde
España 565 Brasil 515 Francia 450 Inglaterra 440 Italia 400 Argentina 390 Portugal 340 Alemania 305 Holanda 280 Serbia 185 Costa de Marfil 180 Uruguay 145 Camerún 140 Nigeria 115 Ghana 115 Suiza 115 Grecia 100 Greece, Sweden, Ghana, Nigeria, Cote d'Ivoire, Uruguay, Cameroon, and Serbia are all above us. What gives? I can understand the Ivory Coast. They've got Drogba, Eboue, Kolo and Yaya Toure, Kalou, etc. Cameroon maybe. Greece? Sweden? Ghana? Nigeria? Serbia?! I think we need to start charging more for our players.
5 melones for Memo seems like alot to me. Reportedly, Jaguares wants 2.5 melones for Bofo. Is he Worth that much?
it's switzerland. apparently they got scouts to judge how much each players is worth - one thing to keep in mind is that the apparent value of players playing outside of europe's top 8 or so leagues (8 may be a stretch) and also guys who aren't standouts in south america is lower than those who are. so the NT's with particularly weak domestic leagues were at teh very bottom. the case for the teams you mentioned is that they have a few players that would demand a significant transfer, they have support from players in the stronger euro leagues, and then a few in weaker euro/african (in ghana's and nigeria's case) leagues. the euro teams that finished beneath mexico has a relatively weak domestic league and have less players in big leagues. although it tends to show a little bit of bias toward euro nt's and nt's with euro based players, in the real market place that's the way it is. also, it's no big deal, and i don't see why charging more for players would help (also, this was hypothetcial) mexico being ranked 18th in accumulated player value means nothing more than that euro players demand higher transfers. teams are not always the sum of their parts and being "worth more" than such and such team means nothing.
I happen to think that all the countries mentioned are worth more $$ player by player.. Dude all those countries have players "playing" in the top teams of Europe.. you have to recognize that... I mean i'm sure we would be there if we didn't have such a mafia run monopoly in Mexico.. ... ..
Ok. Suponiendo que estudias este pinche curso de estos oportunistas. Para que te serviria? http://psidafi.com.mx/diplomados/mundial-2010.aspx
not a damn thing! For starters, the course is a distance educational course. I have nothing against DisED courses, but that class is suppose to be in the field of applied sports psychology. My main question is will the students have access to any the NT players? I am assuming they won't. But you are right. They are a bunch of opportunists trying to capitalize on the WC.
http://psidafi.com.mx/conoce_psidafi.aspx little too young to be head of an important learned society? me thinks its a sham... not saying its a scam... but not very reputable
More like $233 at the moment. The US $ has been taking a beating lately. I was pwnt in Japan this last week.
you should try spending £s in the €urozone mate.... I did manage to eat in Paris ... but only once....
Really? That sucks. I've always noticed that direct exchanges at retail/restaurants can be a killer. I've always exchanged at an ATM, take the fee hit, but at least you get the bank exchange rate. Then use the local for transactions. The problem, of course, is that you have to judge how much you will be using on that trip. It doesn't matter, too much, for me as I'm almost certain to go back to the places I go to and I like to have a little local in my pocket when I land. I have about 10,000 Yen left from this last trip. These are things that should be kept in mind for folks making the trip to South Africa for the WC. Do your homework on their currency and make a plan of attack to minimize your exposure.
just heard on the wireless that its going to be an expensive World Cup to go to .... prices cranking up as we speak....
They are!! I'm in the process of possibly reducing my trip (if I can find an earlier return flight) and spending what would have been the second half of the SA trip in Europe instead.
