What a massive shit show

They barely even invested. If they wanted to go cheap, they should've just dismantled Pachuca and León from the get go (Iddrissi, James, Fonseca, Montiel, Cotorro instead of selling him to Chivas, Bauermann) from the get go.

 

They did it by December (and didn't send everyone). By then Paunovic was gone and the team was cooked. They just didn't want León and Pachuca to go down that badly (which is a dumb set of priorities, TBH).
It didn't help they also sent Alemao (one of Oviedo's better scorers) to Pachuca only for him to go to Rayo Vallecano after two weeks.

 

Televisa-Univisión just got the rights to broadcast the Cup in Spanish in the U.S.
I’m sure Apple TV will have some type of rights to this in English eventually & this was all the necessary things for Liga MX to return & MLS to join

They'll probably lose a bunch of away games. They should be better than the teams from Peru, Bolivia, Venezuela and maybe Chile, but they're pecho frío as they come.
