    As shit as the leagues cup is, at least the concacaf is still home/away. Seems crazy that Saudi Arabia bought the Asian champions league to play the knockout stages in Jeddah

    Algo esta mal con la gente que celebra las acciones de un mendigo cerdo cobarde. Por eso estamos como estamos, en vez de condenar dichas acciones las alaban. Si la liga tomara este caso con seriedad le darian de castigo lo que le resta de temporada y liguilla a Toluca pero se que no lo haran.

    Just bad decision after bad decision.

    - Elimination of PRO/REL. There’s now zero incentive to improve since you can’t descend. So mediocre.

    - Copa MX not returning (even the nads have the US Open Cup, wtf?).

    - Creating 6 superteams to dictate what happens in the league

    - Next tourney starts 3 days before the end of the WC (lmao)

    - Liga de Expansión is essentially dead. Zero incentive to win the league.

    I’m done watching Liga MX. Can’t keep awarding mediocrity (and tbf it became boring to watch years ago).

    Don’t think they’ll merge. It’s just too logistically complex to have such a huge league. It’d mean having 50+ teams spanning thousands of miles.

    I do think that they’re trying to emulate the MLS model though, just flagrantly putting revenue generation over actually making the league competitive. All the unbearable in-game commercials are a clear sign that they just don’t even care if they block off half the screen anymore.
