I don’t understand the fascination with the panenka. A top bin penalty at full power is much more satisfying.

 

I think I've said this in the past, but the death of the creative #10 has been horrible for futbol. We went from a few iterations of tiki taka and dynamic creative players to formulaic possession based horizontal passing teams that are boring to watch.

I think it's akin to how boring basketball is right now with horizontal plan and gather step shooting/layups. The games are better when played vertically and creatively. I barely watch futbol; these days due to this.

Am I insane?
