    Idk if the deal was good or not since apparently a significant minority of the league was against it, but I've never had a good impression of that Rodriguez dude anyway. You'd think making business deals would be the one thing a businessman would be good at.

    I remember reading that the Columbus vs Inter Miami cup final had like 400,000 viewers. That’s like the premier matchup in MLS. Goes to show you that the Messi novelty is gone, and the league has not grown as much as they make us believe.

    You mean when Miami clinched the Supporters' Shield? IIRC that was a midweek game on FS1... I have no idea why MLS simply decided to abandon Spanish-language TV this year (actually, no one on the outside does, since Apple doesn't publish their streaming figures).

    All they need to know is that between Concachampions, the Club World Cup, and the end of WCQ, Messi's gonna be running on fumes next year as well.

    Can Pachuca/ Al Ahly use the same excuse the Argies used? The only reason Pachuca/ Al Ahly lost is they had to many matches plus had to play extra time and had no legs? ;)

    I used to really love international tournaments but all the new international tournaments have turned me off. I'm kinda sick of futbol rn. It's pretty boring, not creative, and the personalities all suck. The "rivalries" are largely hug and kiss "my bad" affairs that don't inspire shit.
