No wonder PSG never transcended, they had this scrub or the wannabe plantation owner as their options.
They need to be called out, glad it was dinho who did it. Brazil has been a shell of itself for too long, too many prima Donna in recent years.
Lost me at grit. Translator must be a Nad. Brasil not being able to crack the 10-0-0 bunker formation really got to him. Outside of Vini, Rodrygo, Endrick and Militao, it must feel hella bad for one of your childhood heroes to call you shit and that you don't belong on the team. Guarantee that after Brasil lifts the cup he comes out with a BS remark about how he said what he said to motivate the team.
Idk, I obviously don’t follow Brazil like I do Mexico but it’s been a while since I’ve seen them have that edge and confidence i remember growing up watching. On paper they have some of the most talented players a team can hope to have but for years they’re just missing something and it’s hard to pinpoint exactly what that something is. It definitely feels like will or maybe leadership but who knows, maybe the longer they go without winning the World Cup/copa America while still always having that expectation puts too much pressure on them
Mentality. The Brazil teams from previous generations stroked fear in you with their style of play. They knew they could kicked your ass and showed with style these guys are far from that
You know how everything is designed to a mean? Like all cars look super similar these days, automotive maker notwithstanding...kia sedans look like toyotas, fords, etc. I think football has gotten this way too. Every team seems to play the same goddamn style and I hate it.
Been trying to find the right words to describe this and you did so perfectly, I feel the same. Somehow I blame the way capital tends to homogenize all
