    So Mediotiempo is reporting that Liga MX club owners have been presented with the following plan for international participation from 2022 on:

    1. Mexico switching to a calendar-year schedule like South America: Apertura in spring, Clausura in fall.
    2. Apertura and Clausura finalists qualify for the following CCL; if there's a hand-me-down berth (if a team appears in both finals), it goes to the next highest team in the full-year table.
    3. Next best 3 in the full-year table go to the following Libertadores.
    4. Next best 3 in the full-year table go to the following Sudamericana.
    5. Everyone else goes to the Leagues Cup w/MLS.
    In which case, good luck to Don Garber trying to market Colorado Rapids vs. Atlas :ROFLMAO:

    No, I don't want America to be punished for their excellence by tying them down to the CCL, I want them to play Libertadores again, they should be able to choose what tournament they want to play in.
