What do yah think are the Mexican National team chances of winning the Copa America ? Lets us look at some facts : Mexico has allways advanced past the first round. Twice it has been in the group of death and twice it has reached the final, losing both games by only one goal. Giving the irregularity of many South American squads id say Mexico has a good chance of finally winning Copa America.

I agree, even though Peru got an "easy draw", there are no easy teams anymore. They might have made it as soft as possible, but they will have to play 100 percent if they want to get past the first round. But ofcourse, they will have some help along the way.
Each tournament is getting them a bit closer, all they gotta do now is host one! But in Peru are going to be better teams, with bigger chances. Of course, is not like if it was written in stone! Good luck charros!

I don't like any of those options. Mexico has a decent chance, I would say better than Venezuela. But I wouldn't put them as a favorite, either. I'd say the favorites are the home team, Brazil, Argentina, and after that a group which includes Mexico, Paraguay, Colombia and possibly Ecuador. Anybody else I would be surprised.
what a dissapointing performance by mexico against uruguay, mexico has near full squad whilr uruguay wasent without they best players and they where basically a Bteam and played with 10 and they still mustard a tie against the supposly GREAT MEXICO?? Venezuela has a better chance.

I do not know how much can be read into that first game. IN the past Mexico has performed quite well at the COPA, but the really looked flat in that first game. Of course right now the only real goal is to make the next round. A win vs Arg (not impossible) or Ecu (more likely) should do that, then if they start to fire on all cylinders they could do it. I would have put money on them before Greece, so it is possible.
