Mexico will play Dominica in Aguascalientes.

    heard this on the news last night..

    great stadium.... Its good that the FMF is playing some games outside of Azteca. I was a bit dissapointed that Tuxtla did not sell out completely, the stadium was about 95% full, but that place should have been soldout. Thats was Mexico's 1st time there. [you cant blame them though, people wanted to save thier money for the upcoming game against America which was sold out 1st day tickets went out.... A HUEVOOOOOOO :D]

    Id like to see Mexico play one in Monterrey. Its been a while since they have played there.

    IF i recall the past 4 years, only Azteca, Jalisco, Reyna (Chiapas), and Pirata has seen the national team play...

    Id like to see them play in Pachuca (their stadium looks badd ass now that it is remodeled) Also like to see them in Morelia.. great atmosphere in Morelia..

    I think that Mexico last played Bulgaria in Morelia and Ecuador in Monterrey.

    Good for the people of Aguascalientes!

    Mexico played El Salvador in Puebla in 2001. That year they also played Bulgaria in Morelia in the Meza era. I like for them to play in San Luis Potosi, Pachuca and maybe Queretaro.

    They should play at Chivas Tijuana old stadium.

    Or Estadio Francisco Villa in Zacatecas. :)

    The last game in Monterrey was against Chile in 2001.

    Yeah they should play in Zacatecas between June 13th and July 11th cause thats when I'll be there! ;)

    BTW is there a date for the game In Aguascalientes?

    Nothing official yet, but FIFA still lists the match for the Saturday, June 12, though I think Mexico can change it as of right to the Sunday, June 13 (which would make sense).

    Will this be a new trend? I noticed that in the last cycle, the semi matches at Azteca drew 23K, 40K, and 45K, while no match in the Hex drew less than 60K. Has it become cost-prohibitive to open up a stadium that big for 20-40% occupation?

    Hmmm, what happened? I could of sword I'd just read an article saying that Mexico would be playing Dominica in San Antonio, TX, on June 19th.

    For Mexico..........away game...san antonio.......home game..... aguascalientes.


    Dominica has 75,000 inhabitants........and no professional soccer field.

    Interestingly, FIFA's other match list (rather than the FIFAWORLDCUP.com) one, lists it as 27 June (which would make it the second leg).
