You guys will be fine just run the home slate and that is 15.That may be enough for 3rd. A pt at T&T would surely be enough and your team would go to SA tested and ready to make a run.

I like what Aguirre says. I don't know why he has gotten all the hate. He can't change things over night. We all know you can't see how things are really going to go until you have some kind of test, since no friendlies were played ES was the first one. Now I hope he learns from that and builds a better team. I think by the end of this we will all be calling El Vasco a savior again.
i hope so, but we need to show cohesion, good play. a better showing than the one vs CR in Azteca. Our next game vs the NADs is crucial, of course we have some friendlies and copa oro games in between, so maybe just a win is good. but we have to take copa oro seriously and win it convincingly.
well lets hope these players are the ones playing against USA cause itll be the only ones with cohesion.. Lista preliminar Selección Mexicana Copa de Oro 2009 Porteros Guillermo Ochoa José de Jesús Corona Óscar Pérez Defensas Paúl Aguilar Efraín Juárez José Antonio Castro Édgar Dueñas Jonny Magallón Juan Carlos Valenzuela Ismael Rodríguez Hugo Ayala Óscar Rojas Fausto Pinto Volantes Israel Castro Israel Martínez Gerardo Torrado Luis Miguel Noriega Pablo Barrera Delanteros José María Cárdenas Fernando Arce Édgar Pacheco Alberto Medina Carlos Esquivel Néstor Calderón Carlos Vela Giovani Dos Santos Miguel Sabah Omar Arellano Omar Bravo Javier Hernández http://www.record.com.mx/futbol/en-la-lista-para-la-copa-oro-solo-dos-europeos.html
Not a bad list at all. This is the much more re-vamped Tri we have been calling for. No Pardo either. Torrado is there but I think he plays better with out Pardo. I wish Rafa could be there, just to give some security in the back line. I like it though. This Gold Cup has been a blessing in disguise, I thought it would be a useless tournament but its a much needed time to work things out, against teams from CONCACAF no less. Lets see if we play ES and Honduras again
i like the gold cup list a lot .... i expect nothing less than 1st place ....... Im so dissapointed in mexico right now that im even going to a brewers game instead of watching the game at home ...........i dont even like baseball (campany party)
last night on picante he said conejo osorio--maza--salcido--rojas ..............or.................. rojas--osorio--maza--salcido ............or................... rojas--maza--salcido--cardenas mid.. only option is Israel Castro on the right ...Gio or Arce Left............Guardado Up front.. Blanco with Nery and Guille
Considering there is only one dm, I figure he'll go with Arce. But Id love to see all that attacking talent on the field at once. Can someone club Guille and give Sabah a shot?
Which is all the more reason to give him a chance vs T&T, given the fact that he is the only Mexican in the top 10 goal-scoring list for Clausura 2009 and the highest Mexican goalscorer since Guille Franco in 2005 (although with 11 goals this Clausura, he ties his Apertura 2007 goal mark and ties Omar Bravo's goal marks in Clausura 2007 and Apertura 2006). I would start him over Franco. But clearly European players are given higher preference, those who, like you state, haven't scored and/or played significantly enough to merit any playing time.
