A fck up is a stretch. He has champions league experience and has been solid for Guadalajara. He was left exposed in some situations by the defense. He also had some bad play in the second half but overall in the first half he was solid. I say he should get another look in a friendly not to say he is automatically your first three keepers. The keeper pool is getting old so exploring the younger goalies now is a good thing.
Hot takes man, hot takes everywhere. Two things can be true at the same time. I don't think Gudino had a terrible game but also don't think he's a top 3 keeper for the NT right now. Many people talking about Jorge Sanchez as having a bad game because of his mistake. On the contrary, he had a good game but he made some mistakes. It's a learning process. I always think back to Hector Moreno's first few games with the NT. He was downright terrible but Aguirre gave him the chance to get his feet wet and find his rhythm at the international level and he went on to do just that. Before the game, people were talking about how we need a generational change (we don't) and how we have to give the young players a chance and now that they make mistakes, we need to not call them up because they're green. Quien los entiende
Memo isn't going to save Mexico forever. It's good to see fresh (young) faces at the goalkeeper position.
Good catch. On the pictures we saw last week, I wasn't feeling this on the jersey. It doesn't look too bad on TV tho.
I think its an ok jersey for an off year, the last WC ones were definitely better. People also say they look better in person.
I always thought that umbro kit was wack and the current one is as well. Something simple like last years home was great.
Aztec designs with a tv static masking. TV static is cool but not meant for jerseys. Makes it look like a training kit IMO.
User the youth NT then but for now stay away from the Sr. team because they don't have it. I say that really for Gudino who let's in some goals that make you wonder...
