Yes. I do like Fonseca as a striker. I watched Mexican National Team for years and I think Fonseca is probably the best among them. Many of skilled (Branco) or fast (Palencia, Hernadez, etc.) and even the target forwards (Borgetti) are not strong enough like Fonseca to held the defenders. I think that one area needs to improve if Mexican National Team wants to move up in the world. Need to have a forward in a Ronaldo/Adriano mode. Fonseca did remain me Van Nistooroy when he held the ball and batte defenders. He also showed a striker's instinct and coolness with the first goal (remains me the Yank Mathis scoring in World Cup against Korea). He did need to improve the stamina though because he was tired on 2nd half.
