Man.........were'nt we supposed to play powerhouses or something like that. Hell in all honesty, i'll take the Czech Republic.................but why the hell not in Prague though instead of our own back yard like always? Hmmmm...... i guess that would of been to logical, my bad.
Yes. I will add this. Back in the 70s/80s there was a mass exodus/immigration from Mexico to the USA due to the Reagan immigration. Mexicans, expanded eastward and started to plant their roots along the eastern coast EVERYWHERE. The Mexican and Americans with Mexican ethnicity population has exponentially grown in the east coast and are well established in the eastern US. Translate that into what it means for futbol - $$$. It is not a coincidence that the Mexican National team used to play in Mexico and sometimes in California/Texas etc. Fast forward a few years, now all of the sudden the #1 Football national team in the US is the Mexican team regardless just about wherever in the USA they play. In addition, look at the numbers at World Cups, the top nations recent with the biggest fan crowds are the host country, US and Mexico (caveat - depending on the continent, other nations fan numbers will increase due to the proximity). This is carefully worded by the media leading a reader think its to support the USMNT. It is not fans supporting the US MNT but rather tickets purchased out of the US which are to see the Mexican National team. I guarantee you the majority of tickets purchased for every Mex/US match played in the US were purchased from US ticket outlets/vendors. The FMF, US Soccer and SUM easily exploit the blind Mexican futbol passion.
The US has just banned travel from Europe for 30 days because of the Coronavirus so the game is done, at least in North Carolina.
Technically, the Czechs can still fly out of the UK if they want But why risk it? Might as well cancel
