No, but I have a question? Why does LA get everything? Soldier Field needs to be finished soon so I can see el Tri again.

I'm actually considering going down to Houston for the US Mexico game and bumming off of RDL for a couple of days.

    Que Pues RDL?

This would be a lot more believable if

    a) US Soccer had actually announced this match!
    b) The USNT wasn't playing about half a dozen more times in the country between now and then
    c) That anyone in the US would notice, care, or even be upset that a terrorist attack was executed against the USMNT.

Plus, there is much more danger of am attack happening in France during the Confederations Cup then during a phantom friendly.

I wonder if it hurts when "journalists" pull these stories out of their asses?

I dont care thats if you dont mind sharing the couches with some of my friends from tampico that are going to be here for the game.

Apparently some of my friends... they are trying to go through the FMF and want to gather enough fools to rent a bus in McAllen and drive to houston and they want to see if the FMF picks up the bill,

4 of my friends are going to be here for sure. they said that if the bus or the FMF does not get tickets..they dont want to be left behind so they asked me if i could buy them thier ticket

What sucks for me is that Finals at the university of houston are on April 30 thru May 8th. Reliant Stadium allows for tailgating, and i wanted to tailgate with some freinds... but i have 2 distant education courses in another campus and i have to be on the other side of town to take 1 exam the day of the game... the rest of my exams are scattered between April 30th and May 8th.

I have not even looked... but will the MFL season be over by then? May8th falls on a thursday... i dont think the clubs would want thier players with a days rest for the saturday games

Acording to TVAzteca, Concacaf prohibited Mexico from hosting this game on the Azteca and they will have to play either on Guadalajara or Monterrey. This because Mexico is already scheduled to play Brazil in the Gold Cup in Azteca and they fear that it would damage the sales for th GC.

    CONCACA cancels Mex-Bra game

This is bullcrap. The confederation prohibited Mexico from playing Brazil before the gold cup. I guess they're jealous Mexico was going to play the Brazil full squad whil the gold cup gets the reserves.

    Once Again Intrigue and Greed

So this is my point of view. A soccer game between Mexico and Brazil would mark a historic day for both mexicans and brazilians. What the game represents is simple. Its not about a trophy, Its not about Money. This game represents the hard work, the blood, sweat, and dedication these two teams have put forth in order to show the fans the true sport of soccer. This game is for dignity itself. Concacaf has steped in a ruined the passion behind the sport and have gave the match between Mexico and Brazil a new Definition. By not allowing this game to be played in el Azteca shows just how little the federation cares about the actual sport and how much it cares for the amount of money it produces. We can all thank concacaf for ruining yet another historic piece of mexican and brazilian culture!

Re: Re: Once Again Intrigue and Greed

after tying China and losing against Portugal I think they DO care a lot about how their next matches go... besides, the last matches we've had against Brazil have been great.. we beat em in the Azteca and tied in Jalisco.. I think they do care about this match

Re: Re: Re: Once Again Intrigue and Greed

Oh please. Its not an historic match for Brazilians like forsaken said. Yes they will pay attention but unless they get the sh** kicked out of them, they won't remember the game much and it will be just another friendly.
