Except for people bitching about the ref doing a bad job(which he wasn't), there's not many excuses here.

You can wish it all you want, but aside from deserved criticism of the ref, this thread is all about how shitty the US played.

    Bye, troll.

It's funny how many here all watched the same game but have a different view on what went wrong.

See, I didn't think the US sat back at all after we scored.
I think that Mexico stepped up their game and didn't let us come out.
We tried to come out but every attack we had, Mexico was there to push back.

I think Bradley hasn't been playing well at all. It's going to be tough for Father Bradley to sit him but it might be best for the team. Bradley gave the ball away at nauseam today. Once Jones becomes eligible, I would really like to see how he's integrated and how he plays. He might become our best option, and I really wish Edu wasn't hurt, because he would probably be playing as well. Feilhaber adds the creativity and passing ability while Jones will add grit and experience. I also thought our most dangerous player on the pitch was Davies, who actually attempted to go at defenders. I really think he has the potential to be a star. He just improves every time he plays.

Everyone said the GC final was played with a crappy "C" team and thats why they lose against Mexico..

now mexico played with a "B" team (players from "A" who didnt play: marquez, arce, pardo, augusto, zinha and vuoso) and they won the main USA team..

so yeah... lets blame the ref!!

What pissed me off more than giving up the second goal was the US troops waving the Mexican flag. What the hell was that? Idiots.

Yes, the US would have been overwhelmed by world class players like Vuoso(Argentine), Zinha(Brazilian), and Pardo. Clearly, Mexico are up there with the likes of Brazil, and Argentina. That's why they take their dregs.

that was really weird, maybe to support the mexicans playing for the USA

anyway the game was good, i think the defense specially the mexican bocanegra and the nigerian onyewu had a great performance..

Rafa not playing was actually a plus for Mexico. He shits it up when he plays against the US and doesn't have Barca's talent to cover for his mistakes.

oh so now you don't have the best players? I could have sworn most of you were on here sayin "wait until we get our A team"..Well we waited, you lost and now you're making more excuses. I do admit though that 99% of the supporters in this thread aren't being homers and are blaming the result on their play.

Lame attempt at trolling. Even I can do better. Boca and Gooch are both born-and-raised Americans. Unlike your Argentine mercenaries who came to Mexico to play, then joined the national team.

So you field a "B" team when it's a basically a when or go home situation for your squad? Probably explains a lot...

Then why pick on the obvious outlier? Let it be and don't be a troll.
