I know there isn't much discussion on this game cause its a forgone conclusion but check this out,

I saw on the local news that Dominica played a friendly midweek... against an amatuer club team from San Antonino,

    Dominica lost 3 - 1 . !!!

The field was horrible (news had a short video clip), like the Grenada field last week vs the US, maybe worse ->they'd just had some major rainfall.

But anyway, I don't know whether to feel sorry for these guys or what. Actually, I do feel sorry them and did last week when I went to the 10-0 in the Alamo Dome.

Like Claudio Suarez said, this kind of game does nothing for either team, I'm sure its not fun for the Dominicans, the only thing it does is maybe give our strikers some confidence and practice shooting, and pad their caps to goals ratio ;-)

any predictions? I think Dominica may pack the back more than they did in San Antonio, where they actually pushed people up sometimes. Maybe we won't get 10 this time.

thanks for the info... i really havent watched much TV the past couple days...

I do feel sorry for them.

Its like the Mexican players say... that there is sort of an innocense in the Dominica team since they play just for love of country. BUT, Oswaldo said that the Mexican players should feel greatful that they can make a living playing football in Mexico.

But honestly, I just hope that the money they made in San Antonio is used for promoting their football.

Also, I think for the most part, most carriebean countries need to play as one league. If you think about it.... Dominica has less than 70K habitants in their country. Most are dirt poor. But assume it had a good economy... the country could not really have a good competitive league. Just not enough people and fan support

    Re: Mexico - Dominica

Well he insulted me instead of answering the question not mentioning that he was talking about Junior team scores.. If you go back over the thread you'll see a different story.. I said Mexico would win.. All that was silly stuff and hardly trolling..Do you honestly believe I was saying Mexico would let in 10 goals?
It was another poster that took it off subject mentioning the US vs Grenada score.

I mentioned the US-Grenada score because I was getting annoyed with these stupid predictions. Keep it on topic or buggar off.

Actually wasn't there some utterly outrageous score posted by Iran over the Maldives in qualifying for WC98, that was even higher than 32?

I definately could be wrong -- I just remember being amazed and wondering if the Maldives players would have mental/self-confidence problems after it.

perhaps I'll look it up later,
