Except no one on their team is close to as talented in their sport as A-Rod is in his.

The whining, the petulance, the flat-out douchebaggery....a lot of parallels, IMO.

but how do we know how talented A-rod is?, taking steroids in baseball helps significantly;).

Anyways, i am this close from running on the feild and knocking MArquez out! his shit gets unpunished way too much. I still have memories of his assualt on Cobi in the WC.

OK, I'm going to be the rebel here...

First...for all the crap we give Sanchez...I caught the sportsmanlike "attaboy" pat on the backside he gave Ching during one of the US flurries in the first half (easy for me to pick up, since it happened about 30 feet right in front of me)...

Second...yeah, the Marquez foul was a bad one (didn't know how bad, really, until I saw a replay of it after I got back to the hotel last night and saw the studs-up part), but it sure looked like he felt bad about it, and not just for getting tossed, either.

Finally...Mexico's #9 was shaking a lot of US hands after the match.

    Not all bad.

assistant coach hit one of our guys, sanchez should be banend for life on the attempted tripping of EJ, plus he sucks in goal, and marquez didn't apologize to Howard.

That was Marquez putting his hands up saying "what did i do??????" and he only walked up to Howard after he got the Red, cuz he wanted to show the ref, he did not mean to do it, as if the ref is going to take the red card back:rolleyes:. Come on, Marquez saw his chance to elimanate a monster in net(Howard), and he almost succeeded.

I don't think anyone for Mexico is MVP material, or any good for that matter. More like a bunch of Ruben Sierras.

Which is still an improvement (sad commentary though that may be) of how he reacted after the Cobi Jones incident...

And again, from my perspective (behind the goal) it looked like a harsh call until I saw a replay back in the hotel after the game...

    Mexico worse than A-Rod.

A-Rod is just really really stupid.

Better analogy = team Michael Vicks.
