Salcido was on PSV's trainingground in Eindhoven today and met some of his teammates. He joins the group this monday.
There's a small item on the PSV-site (only in Dutch for now)

Thanks for the post. If any further info. comes up we'd appreciate it if you posted it here.

You have a really great player in Salcido, at what I consider to be a steal of a price.

Well basically the article is about his introduction to the training ground, he says he likes the surrounding (it's situated between a lot of green and trees), thinks it's beautiful and is very impressed. (very polite guy... ) :D

He spoke to our new coach Ronald Koeman for a few minutes and shook a lot of his new teammates' hands. He said the stadium looked impressive and really modern when he played there with the Mexican national team a few weeks ago. The crowd is very near to the pitch unlike stadiums in Mexico.

He's looking forward to be playing under Ronald Koeman because he was a defender also, and he's glad that Koeman speaks Spanish fluently, just like a lot of his teammates. Especially teamcaptain Phillip Cocu.

He will miss his colleagues and friends in Mexico for sure but is also very happy to be here and is looking forward to play great games for PSV in the Dutch league and in the Champions league.

He will be attending PSV's friendly game against "town rivals" FC Eindhoven (2nd league team) and will join his new teammates this coming monday for his first training session in Eindhoven. PSV will then leave one day later to England to play some friendlies.

(b.t.w. PSV won the friendly against FC Eindhoven 4-0 a few minutes ago.)

Yeah, I really liked him at the worldcup and lots of fans were hoping for him to come to Eindhoven.
What's the amount that's been in the Mexican press? It's been a bit unclear here in Dutch media how much PSV had to pay in the end.

Maybe its the winner of the joga tv(reality show in Mexico) along with another kid. The winner of this show is suppose to go to try out with Manchester United. The winner of this show was Pepe. Just a guess!

Lets just hope this news is true because the Sub-20 Mexican national team would really need their help right about now.

sorry guys im not sure if this one is on here or not but oswaldo sanchez still has teams who are interested in him this is from 2 days ago..

Dice el representante de Oswaldo, Mauricio García de la Vega, que en este momento se realizan gestiones con tres clubes de ligas importantes del viejo continente, y que uno de ellos podría ser el destino del mundialista en Alemania 2006.

If he goes to Hannover, i dont think he will be the first option .

Robert Enke, its their official number one, and last season was one of the best goalkeepers in the Bundesliga.
