Guardado is one of the few players that has HUEVOS to encarar and try mid-rage shots.

Guardado does not seem to get intimidated of the rival either:)

True that. In fact, that is supposedly the reason LaTorpe liked him so much, so much he took guardado all the way to Germany to leave him on the bench.

now that Luis Perez is not going to be able to play, Guardado's chances of having some playing time are bigger....

Guardado making the squad was nice, but I think his cap to the World Cup is right up there with Rafael García and Claudio Suárez. They're nice stories (with the exception of García, of course), they're "feel good" stories. The old battlehorse riding off into the sunset on the biggest stage, and the wunderkind's whirlwind season, debuting professionally one day, making the World Cup squad the next. I hope Andrés proves me wrong should he get some playing time tomorrow.

Im not sure about that, i think Guardado has the potential and talent that everyone in the squad has...look why cant we debut players like fabregas in spain messi in argentina or rooney, cristiano ronaldo....The Mexican federation needs to make sure young players with talent are able to have the oppurtunities.. i have a cousin playing for chivas and he is 17 hasnt debuted yet but im sure the way chivas has done with debuting young players he will in the next seasons...although i would of liked for him to be in the best of all America...and returning to players in Europe im sure the supposed interest in Mex players will fade away after the game with Argentina..

Bravo scores at least two more goals....... the one that hit the sidebar against Angola and he makes the PK or he takes advantage of that Pardo pass........ presto.......... there would be serious interest.

    Ocotlan
    Hi to all,
I am interested in Salcido because i am from OCOTLAN too, so it is a proud that Salcido is a very good player and because he is moving to Europe football. Because i am from Ocotlan, i know Salcido's family and my uncle saw the game Mexico vs Portugal, with Salcido's father and he said that Salcido has taken all his stuff out from Chivas Club because he is not plannig to come back. And that he is going to go to Arsenal Club and it is almost a fact.

He said to that Owsaldo is going to Hannover team.

Salcido's father..... better source? i don't think so.

What do you think? Good news !!!

I didn't know he was from Ocotlan. That's where my pops is from and I have tons of family there.

No wonder I've been such a big fan of that mofo. Although I do think Osorio is on the verge of becoming even better than Salcido. I'm sure they'll be on each other's heels for most of thier careers.

I'ld rather Salcido go to Ingerland. He's one of the few players of ours that have the physique to do well there. I would love for him to play with those roughnecks and learn a thing or two about that. He could be our enforcer in the future. Instead of having Marquez picking up stupid fouls.
