hi guys what do u think of mexican players going to south american leagues

I know that Cruz Azul has a player exchange(think its youth system) with Equipdad of Colombia... think the Mexi team owns the Colombian one

Any way just wondering what u think of them going to our leagues. I know there are at least 2 mexis in the colombian league they just dont make much noise the only one I remember is I remember that Di Nigris guy who came to Once Caldas but sucked bad

i personally prefer players to come from leagues with NTs or Leagues worst than ours so we dont get half ass'd players because we really dont have money to buy class argies or brasilians.

I don't want to belittle the Colombian league by saying this, but The Mexican League is equal or better than the Colombian (your choice), so to go to your league is at the very least a sideways move, and most "good" or worth while Mexican players want to go to higher level leagues like the Europeans; which both of our leagues can't compete with. Unless of course a great Mexican player is retiring, then he'll try his luck at MLS.;)

Miguel Ostersen & Erick Marin at Coronel Bolognesi

This had been reported a few months ago in one of these threads.
Former Cruz Azul legend Juan Reynoso, now coach of Bolognesi, took these two players to Peru.
Erick Marin used to play for Cruz Azul and Ostersen played for Necaxa. Neither had a lot of activity in 1st division in reality. I do remember Marin especially in Cruz Azul Hidalgo, though he sporadically played with the senior team. And Ostersen, IIRC, was this really odd, huge, bulky, pale young guy who warmed Necaxa's bench before they moved to Aguascalientes.
Well... it turns out Bolognesi won the CHAMPIONSHIP:

I don't know how Marin is doing, but according to this link, Ostersen will return for this season:

All of these threads about "Jose Quiensabe Quien" belong in the "Others" thread...let's keep this forum clean and easy to navigate!

Agreed. However, I'd like to give them a week or so and check the traffic. If there is little interest, I'll merge with the "Others" thread. Sound reasonable?

Former Necaxa keeper Alexandro "El Mostro" Alvarez, and fmr. Cruz Azul... er... wonder kid Adrian Cortez are set to join Bolognesi too.
Erick Marin is still wrestling a new deal.

The reason they(the ones is Central or South America) don't get much attention is because those players are not considered good enough to play in Mexico, and to me it's a very valid reason the press and us as fans have to not follow their career closely.

Re: Emmanuel Lopez in Venezuela team Union Atletico Maracaibo

As far as I know, Emmanuel has returned to Mexico after failing to impress the coach in a week-long series of trials. Maracaibo, however, is home to Oscar Resano, a goalkeeper trainer from Mexico.
