While browsing the Honduras press for stories related to Guevara, I ran across this article:

    http://tribuna.icomstec.com/news/index.php?id=9715&mode=2

It says that the Metrostars will play a friendly in San Pedro Sula, Honduras on Wednesday May 7. The opponent will be a combination of players from Marathon and Real Espana. The games are to raise some money for these clubs which are struggling financially. It says they were thinking of bringing in a Mexican club or another Central American national side but they decided on the Metrostars because they have Guevara.

What happened exactly in Martinique before
the Honduras game against T&T? Did Amado
    refused to play or what?

horizon, check the Guevara quits thread, it seems pretty up to date and i threw my 2 cents in too haha...as for this friendly, i think the cause is an excellent one, and is a good way for guevara to show he is truly regretful that the incident had to happen...unfortunately, it is on a wednesday between 2 weekend games for our team, so long as it's not really much more tiring than a normal practice week i'm all for it...it may even be a good chance to line-up against quality competition in an atmosphere that should be very positive
