3 games in 6 days against DC which the most important one will be the 3rd at Yurcak field and i don't like it one beat coz even if we'll beat them twice in the league it won't prove any success in the OSOC

Dude, do you beat off to pictures of the Open Cup at night? It seems like that's all you talk about.

Yeah but winning the USOC seems like more of a possibility right now than the MLS Cup. Considering the lack of Metros hardware, you can understand why he's excited.

Just the fact that Metros have never even been to a final(USOC or MLSC) makes that third game so important. Even if we come away with nothing this year, a USOC finals appearance is a great accomplishment given our lackluster history.

    VIVA METROS!!

You must have missed the 600 post anthology on the MLS board whrn this character said that the USOC should be MLS' championship and that the playoffs should be canceled

Must have missed it. That does sound a bit overboard.

    Convey:

    1. UK REJECT
Yes, it's a bummer for US soccer, but this is DC. His pain, their pain, solely exists for our enjoyment (dc fans, don't act like that doesn't work both ways).

    2. For you depeche mode fans:

To the tune of "It's No Good" from ULTRA.

    Don't say it's envy
    Don't blame ri-val-ry
    They don't want bobby
    it's understood
    UK says that Convey
    Lacks qua-li-ty
    he's stuck in DC
    'cause he's no good.

    continue...

    "united and now the spurs"

Right. Still a spurs fan? And you've been one for all of 6 weeks. How charming. If you think Convey is a better player than mathis you're smoking.

Away troll, back to your junior high school.

    On the game:

    Yahoo's Preview.

    Partial quote:

When we last played on July 5th, we provided the low point of the DC season. They had won 3 games all year and just lost at home after being up a man for 60+ minutes to the Metro B team. Hopefully in 180 minutes of soccer we can bring another low point to the low brows.

It's so funny, either they are shut ins or so devoid of life it's sad. There are 2 pages of messages on this board, mainly about the Metros, but 7 pages on theirs also mainly about the metros...

you guys better do some major a$$ kicking! I am by far not a Metro fan but this will make two weeks in row that I am a fan, next week will make three. 3 points tonight and 3 sunday would be a very nice present for the Revs, though I am sure we will screw it up somehow should that happen. ;)

    Garden State, born N
    Hopes for tonight -

Bring Waly in off the bench. He brings an incredible enthuiasm and thirst for scoring. When he starts he plays like he can't finish. He's a classic off the bench player!

Give Gavin more PT. Start him.

Let Mathis continue to pour it on. He's looking better and better each game. He's gonna pop any game now and tonight's a great night for it.

Tell Lissi to cool his jets, or play him with gaffer tape over his mouth. DC is very good at getting players riled. We want 11 strong all night long!

J man, show us what you've got. Heard about AWOL stories like our old Valencia.

Johnny Walker you are the man! And you are taller than Little Nicky at the other end. Put one in his mouth! I mean the goal mouth, though the other would be fun to see.

Tonight is just the begining of DC's worst nightmare, and it just keeps getting worse and worse. And Metro gets better and closer to some real hardware, finally!
School night = less kids with horns
GO METRO - WILL BE THERE TONIGHT
