We know one thing, they're going to keep it in the FAMILY.

    Okay, moving on...soccer games.

    MLSNet Preview

NYRBs hit the road looking for the first win. And, frankly, enough of these idiots. We played them in a monsoon and should have won last year in our home opener, and they were gifted a dubious home penalty to tie us late in the away game. Time to spank these twerps just like all of their parents used to.

    NYRBs 3, RSL 1.

And, keeping with the Utah theme.....

At last week's home opener, soccer superstar Pele takes time before the game to waive to all of his illegitimate children...

That is an awesome picture of Pele with the girl holding his Red Bulls shirt.

This is an early must win match for RBNY. Even a Draw would be worthless this time. RSL has nothing on the field, they are a big mess. They have to go in there and take them out right away. It's just that plain and simple.

3-0 or 3-1 RBNY hell I'll even say 4-1 RBNY. Will it happen? Maybe not but this is how serious I feel about this match. Need to take 3 Pts a.s.a.p.

    2-1 RBNY,3-1 RBNY

A draw here would be terrible the team knows it 3points here are key.

I feel we'll see maybe a different starting 11 heres what I think we may see.

    Meola
    Wynne Parke Graham Mendes

    O'Rourke
    Henderson Canero
    Guevara

    Djorkaeff
    Buddel

We'll need Marvel's power to stop the ball too he's amazing its like magic.

Anything less than 3 pts against RSL and 4/22 becomes judgement day for a few folks in the organization.

    Yep

This is about as must win as it gets.

I can't see them not winning. Well I can, but I think they'll do it this time.

Beatiing RSL would be merciful. It might usher Ellinger out the door, and force them to bring in a real coach. The problem is "who?" But that's their problem. We can only help them take that first step by thrashing them in front of friends and family.

What's Thomas Dooley doing these days?

So wait, I'm confused: there's a professional soccer team in Utah? Who the hell agreed to that stupid idea?

Oh, I see, people in Utah just think there is a professional soccer team in Utah. That explains everything.

This game has to be a win for the Red Bulls. RSL just plain sucks. You can't put it any other way. This game has to be 3 points for the Red Bulls.

Hopefully Mo has convinced the club that these are three easily attainable points. Buddle needs to get the ball on long, slashing runs into the box that he can finish. No more of this "top of the box, try to fight through 2 defenders" stuff. All the pressure should be on Ellinger to keep his job. It's been a LONG time (8/6/05) since RSL won a game.

OK, I see a 2-1 win for RBNY. We give away a stupid foul just outside the 18 and get scored on against a direct FK. However, Buddle and Guevara give us the win.

I think Mo plays an aggressive 3-5-2 this match. Wynne is looking good, so he might just

    Meola
    Wynne - Parke - Stammler

    Canero - O'Rourke - Henderson
    Guevara - Magee

    Djorkeaff - Buddle

And with this, we win 3-1, Tony has over 8 saves.

    Garden State, born N
We pull ahead by one early on, then Fat Tony gives up an easy one, "My Bad, was dreaming about Germany"'

Into the tunnel for a quick lowdown from Mo, "No jacket no Tie - Understand! Enough with the ties. I won't wear one, you don't keep one. Got it! Now somebody score like the football team you are! You're in Big Love country now, show 'em how it's done, boys!"

Magee is subbed in. He makes a bold move, no one sees him. Another bold move and Youri hits him while the defense stays in a huddle with Buddle. Magee breaks free for a tie breaker.

    2-1.

Closing shot of Mo stepping on a discarded tie as he leaves the land of too many wives behind.

Look out DC, coming to get cha!

Wow, people seem to be too optimistic about this game. RSL may not be one of the best sides in the league, but their lineup isn't horrible - Klein, Ballouchi, Sequiera, Cunningham, Andy Williams, etc. This is certainly a team that is capable of pulling off a good performance once in a while, and they might be primed to do it in their home opener after losing twice. I just don't have a good feeling about this one. Prediction: RSL 2-0 RBNY
