The Court has a fine jukebox. It'll do us loud and proud on Wednesday, but best in the state it ain't. Its probably not fair to compare it to one stocked by a music biz magnate / renowned record collector, but compared to the Jukebox @ Maxwell's of Hoboken it is strictly the stuff of Route 9 Diner tabletops.

I should've never left Hofstra. Then I'd actually be able to make these games.

Can anyone tell me how far of a drive is it from Kearny or Giants stadium to Yurcak field. I work till 6 so will only be able to leave the house around 6:30 and I'm affraid of missing a big chunk of the game or not being able to even get tickets.

I wish I could leave early enough to hang out with the ESC for the first time at the Court and chug back on some Yuenglings. I am also intrested in becoming a member.

6:30 is pushing it with traffic. 6:00 should be fine. Order the tickets ahead of time and put them on will call (doesn't cost extra), they'll hold them there for you.

Easiest way to go for you is Turnpike to Exit 10 (287 North) or Exit 9 (Route 18 North) (if 287 has traffic problems, which it usually does). Check an online map (MapQuest, etc.) for distance from your house. If Yurcak Field doesn't register use Rutgers Stadium or Sutphen Road as the end point.

If there is light traffic on the Turnpike you could probably pull into the parking lot at 7:05 or so if you leave Kearny...The easiest and quickest part of the Turnpike is the ride from the Kearny area to Brunswick, unless there is an accident you should be fine. I walked up to the ticket window 10 mins before the match and had no problem obtaining a ticket..although I ended up buying mine from this guy who had an extra.

So your saying its about half an hour ride normally??
That aint too bad. I might just make it for a few brewskys after all... Anyone in the Kearny area interested in carpooling to the game? I might have a few spots open in the car depending on how many friends i can convince to go with me. I should be leaving the area around 6:15-6:30.
    Thanks JRed

Nope. From Route 18 North, go straight over the Raritan River past River Road (18 becomes Metlars Lane), get in the left lane and make the left. Make a right at the big intersection where all the traffic is going, you'll see the stadium right there.

From 287, see directions below. Easy to find either way.

Does everyone going to the Court already have tickets? I have two extra $10 tickets(rutgers student discount). If I have time to make it to the Court before the game, they'll go first come first served.

I'll be glad to take them off your hands. If you get to the Court, ask around for me. I'm not sure what time I'm getting down yet.
