This is the worst half of MLS soccer I've seen in the last two years. And I had Revs season tickets last season! Maybe it's the field, but neither team is passing well, nor settling the ball well. This is really ugly.

It was the only half of the game I got to see. We went to our local BW-3s and didn't expect to see any soccer at all...they are not soccer-friendly there and the college pointyball game tonight (Marshall vs VA Tech) features one of Western Michigan's (the local mid-major) opponents this year with the other team being the perennial rival for MAC superiority. Somehow at 7:30 someone switched one of the TVs off Jim Rome (thank GOD) and onto the Metrostars/United game. Imagine our surprise, shock and elation. We moved closer, hoping that would allow us to keep the game on. Even cheered loudly when DC scored (hey, I'm a Crew fan, that's helping us!). Right in the middle of the Tab Ramos testimonial, they turned the channel...to the football game which was already on all but two of the TV screens that didn't have NTN trivia on it. They never turned it back. Grrrrrrrrrrr.
after watching that game, i decided i should have spent my time studying for a quiz on the countries in africa.......it was that exciting.
