Metros have a mid-week game, so it gives guys like DiGi and Regan a chance to shake off the cobwebs and see how Magee would do in midfield in a real match.

    Shall we do a projected line-up? ;)

    -----Flores-----Bradley-----Magee-----
    ---------------Clark-----------------
    ---DiGiamarino---Bonseu/Sammler----Arena----Regan----

Actually it's going to be at Williams Field in Elizabeth. The festival is in Newark, but not the game.

Williams Field is at Elizabeth High School. I'm not sure how big it is but i couldn't imagine it holding too much so a sell out is very possible

Smart move to have the game around a Portugese festival.

Yeah, should be at least 6 people that I know of.

Anyone in the area know if Linden or Elizabeth is the closer NJ Train stop to get off at?

None of them will be playing MLS teams as it currently stands. One of them may be the All-Star opponent if Real Madrid backs out.

I called Elizabeth High School @ 1-908-436-6868 & was advised that Williams Field is located behind the "Edison House" building of the High School on Clarkson Street. Edison House address is 625 Summer Street, 07202.

The Metro kicked ass, 3-1. Lisi scored a remarkable curving shot, Gilberto Flores looks to be Guevara reincarnated, he left defenders in the dust and assisted at least one if not two of the goals. Even Galvan Rey scored a nice goal! The one goal that was scored on the Metro was a penalty kick on a semi-cheesy call.

My fault, that was woly with the curving kick and gilberto that was flying around the field. My eyesight isnt the best, but gilberto was moving and playing just as well, if not better than guevara usually does.

There was a kid at the game with a jersey bearing the name Cunha. Was this Little Frank?
