    Okay, one point.

This team is doing what's known as a ****tease. It's maddening.

Sweet mother of god I hate Rhode Island for not carrying MSG. Sounds like I missed one hell of a game. A draw but a hard earned point.

Well, at least we found out we can play DC without Clint.

You think the team is better off without Clint? Kinda like the Ewing theory? I suppose the Metros record speaks for itself when Clint scores, but I'm tired of waiting for him to do something.

And it will continue to be a dick tease for as long as Bradley insists on starting Williams. In binary, the number "16" means "liability".

But I can't even pretend to care about that at the moment. The emptiness and despair DC fans must be feeling right now is, to me, like an oasis in the desert.

I hope it really, really hurts, DC. I hope it hurts for a long time.

I meant we're going to have to, because of his suspension for Wed's game.

There's no question this team is better off without Clint at the moment. The Ewing Theory in action.

Well, no Richie next game. Bob will have to figure something out.

We won't have him for 2 games in a row -- and I'm actually relieved. The teams works hard to try to get him the ball, and nothing comes of it. Now they will have to look elsewhwere, as they did -- with success-- when he was away with the national Team.

Now he seems less a committed competitor, and more a reckless liability. Maybe he's trying TOO hard; that's possible.

I think strikers, in particular, come in two flavors: Apollonian and Dionysian. Pele' is an example of the former, George Best of the latter -- also Maradona.

I think Landon is Apollonian in nature, while Clint is Dionysian. A characteristic of the former is stability, of the other, instability. One is constructive, the other destructive.
I think we are all a mix of the two natures, and one dominates the other at various times.

But strikers are like opera tenors, movie stars, and standup comics -- the focus of attention -- so their natures are pushed to extremes. Say what you will, but this makes sense to me.

On the other hand, ever since I gave up smoking I can see hidden messages in wallpaper.

Really great to see Magee score....
Hopefully he brings that same killer instinct to Rutgers for the USOC game Wed.
Huge game in order to really start our so-called "new tradition"

Nice contributions by MaGee, Clark and Gaven (in no particualr order). Not a bad draft by Mr. Bradley.

I hate to say it, but Clint punked out on the team this afternoon. He has too much talent and experience to do something like he did.

He has to get it together if this team is going to do anything over the next six weeks.
