Messages to Sadam

Well some of you by now may have figured out that I am military by my name Firstshirt(nickname for first sergeant). I will be leaving in a few days to join my comrades in the sand. Its pretty obvious that we will be dropping bomds in a few weeks. As a Revs supporter I am offering this to all who choose to participate. Post a message you want written on a bomb and I will take the best 5 or 6 and make it happen. I will bring a marker to the flight line and copy them down for you. I have no doubt that some of you will come up with some very interesting quotes. Make them pretty short too, no more than say 5 or six words.

I have a friend who'll soon be in the region: Air Force outta Stuttgart, Germany. This is his 2nd trip over, having already served in Desert Storm.

Don't know what to suggest for a catchy phrase, but I'll say the same to you as I said to my friend:

Take it easy, be careful and get back soon.

my message is I hope you are safe and this war never comes to pass. We had a war in the 60s and 70s that was a put-up job by our leaders. I can't believe we are doing it again.

I pray for our safety, which is why (I hope) we're doing this.

But first and foremost, I pray for the safety of you Firstshirt, and everyone else there who's risking their lives so that we can live the lives we do.

Our pal Sadaam could avoid all this by coming clean and he's not doing it. Obviously there's something he's hiding and I think it's meant for us. I pray that you guys find the rats nest and then clean it out permanently.

BTW 1LT de Sá Pereira, USMC is the XO of Fox Co. in USS Duluth, on his way. This is his second time in the Middle East, he was in Kuwait last year for 6 mos.

damn guys,,,,I meant for this to generate some good one liners and instead your getting me all choked up!! Its great to see that even though some people may not agree on this possible war, they still back the troops. You guys are great,,,,,,,How about a simple " sadam, From Revs Fans with love!" Thanks guys for all your support. Its gonna be hard to leave my wife and 3 teenage daughters for an undertermined amount of time....not to mention the possibility of missing JMM return to the Revs!!
Hopefully I will get some internet time over there and keep up with the news.
