I was just thinking how many non-Orthodox Christians we have as regulars here.

You think the majority are Protestant or Catholic?

I think it's a mix of Jews, Catholics, atheists, etc. Lot of atheism going on here, that's for sure.

My sister worked at the Coach desk at Macy's (the purse).

Two years ago their target was $4 million in December.

Last year it was $2 million.

This year it is $1 million and they won't come close.

This is one desk at one Macy's.....

Well, I'm Ukrainian Catholic (on the days I'm in church), that's sort of Orthodox :)

I was not really thinking about faith, more about traditions, i.e. Hanukah, December Christmas versus January Christmas etc

Well, the only real solution is to celebrate all of them, don't you think ;)

Born and raised Lutheran, converted to Orthodoxy over a decade ago. Not terribly religious and only go to church on holidays...I just prefer the beautiful Orthodox service and the choir service over anything else available in Christendom.

I'm curious as to why you think that. Care to expound upon this?

My mom and I do the no meat or bathing thing though before Easter or whatever. No scissors either. :D

The scissors thing is completely true, I remember I got my hair cut the day before Easter I think it is ? Well yea my friend's brother ended up hitting me right below the eye with a baseball bat by accident.
