Hello Wizards fans, I'm a friend of Taylor Graham as well as Todd Dunivant of the San Jose Earthquakes and I'm helping Todd raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma society. Some of you may have already heard this story but it's an amazing one worth reading about again. A few years ago Todd's older brother Luke was diagnosed with acute Leukemia. Fortunately, Todd was a perfect match and was able to give his brother a bone marrow transplant. Unfortunately, after things looked much better for a while, Luke had a relapse and the cancer came back. Again, Todd was able to give his brother the ultimate gift. Luke is now back to teaching high school in Colorado and is doing well but as anyone touched by this disease knows it is a constant battle. Which brings me to the subject of this post. Taylor and the Wizards have organized a fundraiser to help Todd in his campaign to elect Luke as Man of the Year (whoever raises the most money gets the title man of the year by the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society). Preki and Tony have generously helped out by donating their signed jerseys which are up for bidding on Ebay. The money raised from the jerseys will be donated to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society as part of Todd's fundraising efforts. Here are the links to the two auctions.
