Hmmmm. I'm beginning to understand why Fosters comes in those big cans. Saves you guys from having to reach in the cooler so often, huh?
Hi guys Hull City supporter of many years just dropping by to say all the best to Danny Allsopp and many thanks for all you did for us during your stay here... special memory of him scoring our 4th goal away at Sheffield Wednesday to seal a 4-2 win.. what a night!!! All the best to Melbourne Victory for the coming season Rip 'em up guys!!
well it's interesting in australia all local beer is in smaller cans 375mls wheras in europe its 500mls, also true for average beer in a pub in vic we have 'pots' that are 330mls(?) and in England they have 'pints' which are 578mls(?). now correct me if i am wrong but this is because of the climate and how we like our beer, smaller servings means beer is drunk quicker therefore it doesn't have a chance to go warm (awful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!). i personally drink guiness which is served cold but also in a pint glass. What beer is served at olympic park? not that awful carlton mid strength. andrew
A half litre can bought from a Supermarket costs about 99p in the UK, ie $2.50 in AUD. In Oz, you'd be lucky to get a 330ml for that much. In other words, we get shafted for booze in Oz. No wonder so many people are sober and tend to work longer hours in Oz.
I hope we can watch Melbourne Victory whilst sober, and then have something to celebrate. Hey we had a win last week, a victory for the Victory so no more puns.
I reckon Melb Victory will be up there come the end of the season with Sydney FC & Central Coast. Archie Thompson will be the leagues best player , it will soon be Dwight who ??
no, i think Bling FC will win it with Perth finishing 3rd, Newcastle United will finish 2nd with the Knights being last with the Roar in hot persuit in 7th.
lol still Cartoon Mark II i think, but then again Lord has quit so we will see. i hope for the league the club is successful.
The unofficial word from a senior official in the Knights is that two of the Aussie franchises are already in serious financial trouble and the season hasn't started yet The advantage that the Knights have is that they get the television money from Sky Sports (NZ) who are broadcasting all the Knights' home games live and have promised to broadcast as many of the away matches as they can lay their hands on.
