"We have never done this before, but Freddy is the first American soccer player we have ever seen with the potential as a pro in Europe," Inter Milan youth director Piero Ausilio told The Washington Post. ********************** Ummm.. Do we have to list the American's who have played, are playing, will be playing, etc.. Nice article! Thanks.. Go Freddy!!
Good read, but its the same as just about every article on him. He gets rave reviews from Hudson and Arena and then they talk about his age and him moving from Ghana and his mother and him getting their citizenship.
i believe it was meant to say "star" but something was lost... in translation, passing it along, etc.
essentially, but that's a bit because he hasn't really had the chance to prove himself at any level yeah, he's played with the u-17's... but not in real games... he's practiced with d.c. united, but that's practice... he gets his citizenship and then plays at the u-17 championships... you'll be able to see more said about him, imo as so far, it's just people saying he's got the talent... it should be an interesting ride to say the very least
she usually does a pretty damn good job... i'm willing to give her the benefit of the doubt this isn't a grahame jones type writer we are discussing
