So, who all went? Oct and I were there. The facility was very nice and I liked the up close feeling with the players. Very nice. The tater skins were awesome. I didn't like the buffalo wings.
I dunno about the food, didn't try any. Didn't like it as much as last years, though. My Brit liked meeting the players, though.
The Fox has some pretty good food. Calida lives down on Lees Summit Road so we hang out there a lot when I'm in KC. Great place to watch a game or just hang out.
Speaking of Calida, she's on p177, "The Cauldron" page, of this year's Media Guide. She's in b/w siloette (no background) holding a scarf. Kevin is featured on the opposite of the page standing in front of my flag drapped down the wall. The only remarkable thing in this year's media guide that I've found so far is the repeat of last year's "Good Behavior" rule for those in yellow points trouble. If a player is within 4 points of being suspended for points AND can, while "under warning ", go 3 consecutive games without a card he will then have 4 points deducted from his total. This is available to each player a maximum of one time. OK, that, KC is 0-1 all-time wearing all white at home (they must mever do this again), KC is 41-2 when scoring 3, and KC is 18-1-5 when Klein scores. Anyway, cold beer, very good skins, the wings did suck, good crowd, the waitresses all looked pretty good in the Wizards givaway jerseys from last year, and the salsa was spicy and tasty. Good event.
Yeah, if I remember right, our first lose when Klein scored was last year on that faithful night in San Jose.
