An interesting story about our best center half: http://www.manchesteronline.co.uk/sport/football/national/stories/A4757670 Another story says he doesn't fast on Ramadan, unlike fellow Muslim Nicholas Anelka. It's refreshing to see a young Arsenal player who hasn't bitched and moaned about not getting playing opportunities. All he's done is force his way into the starting lineup and outplay one of England's starting central defenders in the process.
Couldn't agree more, Dan. I don't know why more young players don't follow his example. Instead of complaining that you're never given a chance to be in the first XI, just play so well in training that the manager has no choice but to play you. Before all is said and done, I think Toure will be one of those players that people see as one of Wenger's unearthed gems.
The guys a star, a complete breath of fresh air. Maybe this has something to do with some of our British youngster being spoilt rotten believeing people owe them something rather than working hard to get it.
