Not only he was the leading scorer of this year Brasileirão, but he's also the all-times top scorer of the Brazilian championship with 31 goals, breaking the past record of 29 from Edmundo in 1997.

Enquanto o Brasil conquistava o tetra nos EUA, Dimba começava sua carreira no Sobradinho, da cidade satélite de mesmo nome, em Goiás. Daquele ano até 1996, ele teve passagens por Brasília e Gama, sempre retornando ao clube que o revelou. Mas foi em 1997 que o artilheiro começou a ganhar projeção nacional e trilhou o caminho que, por enquanto, culmina com o recorde de gols em uma edição de Brasileirão.

Will he ever be called for the seleção? Only if he moves to a club of the elite of futebol brasileiro. Knowing CBF politics, it's the only way he can prove his national team worthy.

Whatever dude.... If that's the case, Alex is nothing more than a mediocre player because he scored no less than 4 penalty goals in a single game.

A goal is a goal..... and dimba scored a whole bunch more that were not penalty kicks.

After been forgotten for a while in Korea, Dimba is now back in Brazil and has signed to play for Flamengo.

Another player that completely failed here in Portugal and become a great goal scorer, some years ago was Christian now its Dimba.
