Unnecessary, they didn't let them have many chances in second half. Think it won't matter whether we draw or lose tho. Would've probably needed Juve to lose points anyways if we don't win today because I don't see Lazio, Juve and us all finishing level in the end or us making up the difference in GD vs Juve.

Another team goes up the ranks of my most hated teams. Not having away fans was complete bullshit.

We must rejuvenate our midfield and attacking section, if we want Gasperini or Klopp.

Ederson , Lookman, De Katelare, Bellanova are in different level.

Maybe Soule was little danger, but we wont look sharp.
With that slow attacking team with no technique, Gasperini or Klopp do nothing.

We dont have Lookman or Salah.

    Fukcing Atalanta cnuts.....as always.

Still, if Dovbyk is your target man you're gonna have a bad time. Been saying it for months now. Really hope we can shift him in the summer. Useless donkey, must be one of the slowest thinking/moving forwards I've ever seen.

Dont think we can be pissed about the pen really. Barely any contact there. Can be pissed about what was a clear foul on Kone moments later on the edge of the box though.

Well that's almost certainly that. Need to win the last two and hope for Juve to blow it and lose one of their games (and Inter to beat Lazio).....

What if Inter wins the CL? Can Italy get 5th placed team then?

Actually.....winning the last two and Juve/Lazio not doing so would be enough....maybe not completely dead just yet then

He’s right. When they call a penalty it can only be overturned for a clear and obvious error. Now they change the rules. Gotta love it. Fcuking farcical league.

Unfortunately for us it was an obvious error. Kone starts going down without any contact whatsoever.....there's the barest insignificant contact between thighs then.....sucks but when I saw the replay I knew that was gonna get overturned.

    No.
It was a clear and obvious error. No way that's a penalty.

They ran a good race given the situation he arrived in. From relegation talk to a safe midtable finish to having a chance to fight for top 4 with a few games to go was unthinkable. They had to go for the CL but other than that they could have really do without that year in Europe. The group is mostly settled though and for once wouldnt it be nice to arrive into the start fo a season without too much turmoil. We usually see the business done late and they spend the first 1 to 2 months tyring to fit the pieces and then play catchup. If its going to be a total shake up the only name you could trust is Gasperini. Its a significant decision. Stay with this group with some modifications or blow the whoel thing up after coming on so strong. It cant be an easy one to decide but at least its Ranieri making the call.

This game really exposed the limitations of Dovbyk. He's useless outside of the box.

The game would have gone differently if we had either started Baldanzi to offer support to Eldor, or Gourna-Douath/Pisilli to add another player in the middle of the pitch.

We're trying to use Dovbyk in a similar way we did Dzeko, but he just isn't on that level. I can put up with him not getting chances in a game, but for someone who's static most of the game, it drives me crazy when he doesn't press.

He's trying to keep himself fresh so he can score when the time comes. He ain't van Basten, tho.

Funny you should mention Dzeko because I remember a lot of people wanting him out in his first season as well when he only scored 8 goals. And we had 83 goals as a team that season, compared to just 51 so far this year. So, like him or not, Dovbyk is quite a bit more impactful than Dzeko was in his first season.

You give him another year at least, given the investment you can't just dump him after one season.

Under Juric he wasn't getting any service whatsoever, recently he's been quite wasteful with the service he has been getting. It's been a frustrating season from him but he's still done decent numbers so it's promising. He was never going to come into serie A and score the same number of goals, that doesn't happen in Italy.
