1 point behind Juventus if we won tomorrow.

Finishing 1 point off of UCL would hurt worse than finishing just above relegation zone.

Good performance and good win....all we can do is look after our own house and try to win out. Lets see if we can do it.

The stripes drawing to Verona is a shock and a major bonus. Win out and hope the stripes or Meelan bottle it from here. Our chances are at least a bit less remote after this wkend.

Nothing hurts more than blowing a 3-1 lead to our direct competition for UCL. We would be 2 points a head of them and would have the tie-breaker should it come into play.

We've hit good form and recovered important players lately. I just want to see us win out from here (which would inc' a critical derby win of course) and see what happens elsewhere.

Odds slightly against still but there's no doubt our chances have improved dramatically since before the Bologna game.

If we fall short ye dont need to look too hard as to why.....7pts from a possible 36pts vs the top 6 rivals....abysmal.

The league has sucked this year, one of the worse on record. The last weekend was atrocious in terms of performance except for Roma. We have benefited from the rest in Europe. Bologna chased their tails off over 2 legs against villa and were so flat, it was the most comfortable game away to them in years. A week of proper training anf focus towards Fiorentina and they went out and nailed the first half. Dybala back for this little late push but with a derby you never know how thats going to go and Lazio will be more motivated than ever to put the knife in. The Napoli and Juve late draws is going to sting but at the same time Milan and Juve are not in a good place right now. For once the cards might fall for Roma. CL money, the ability to keep the bigger names and we might finally get to see a little extra quality added to the depth of this squad. Fingers crossed we dont just miss out and end up in the exact same loop.

The squandered victory against Juve haunts me.

So Juve need to lose one. Milan need to lose and draw? Assuming we win out? I wouldn't bet my life savings on it. So close and so far away.

No losses needed. Juve needs to drop points once, Milan twice. Draws would be enough. Still not getting my hopes up but our play with all our starters back is so much better that I'm at least a bit more optimistic that they will do their part.

Form wise we're looking decent. Key players will have to stay fit for this final stretch (Wesley, Kone, Malen.....). Winning out looks very doable.....but we'll see.

    Looking at the others games....

Meelan are in bad form. Their attack has been pants in '26. Modric is out. But they're at home and they'll likely be fired up to do a job on Atalanta to stave off getting dragged into this in a big way. Obviously Atalanta are capable of taking points from anyone on their day....but a lot will depend on what Atalanta shows up here. They're not exactly on fire form wise and have little to play for now. Genoa away wont be easy. Like Atalanta, little to play for, but there is the DDR factor to consider. He should have his boys well focused for this one. Wouldn't hold out much hope of a Cagliari favour, but the hope would be the damage has been done before that final game.

For the stripey cnuts.....Lecce are not safe yet so have plenty to play for and are at home. The stripes should probably be well clear at this point in truth, but they've managed to drop plenty of points against small teams despite dominating. A draw is possible. Fiorentina at home looks straightforward so not much hope for that one.....but maybe they've learnt a lesson or two after our drubbing. They finish with Torino away.....who should be plenty motivated at least to get one over their arch rivals.

Overall I'd say a decent chance points are dropped elsewhere....but can we do our bit? Could be all over by Sunday too.....

When playing against the top 7, DDR and Genoa have only beaten us, and they tied Milan once. I wouldn't be looking at him for any favours.
