Pellegrini is a very good player against the shit teams. When he starts showing up against the big boys, then we'll talk.
I can’t agree on El sha, he’s useless at build up play and functions much better off the bench. He scored a crucial goal but his overall play is bad. This was the case even before China and he’s hasn’t shown anything to indicate he’s improved in that aspect. It’s fine being a one trick pony as a super sub but not as a starter. If he doesn’t score he doesn’t impact the game at all, unless he goes back to being a 15+ goal a league season player he has no business starting.
His style of play in many ways suits Joses football. We can be looking like not doing much and then bang theres a goal. This is El Shar summed up. He can be useless for 90 mins and pops up with the winner. Mikh will fade as the season goes on and we will see a lot of shared mins at the very least. Mikh has been average at best to start so far. If one guy is scoring off the bench we know how this will go and he will get his chance starting eventually. From there, depends on the starting performance but if it's like his last season before China, it was a constant source of goals.
