The only positive outcome of this game is that Pellegrini will be suspended. Fonseca gets the blame for not taking off Cristante and Pellegrini at the 30th minute. I’d like to see a stat of Roma’s results when these 2 pussies are starting together. Mancini got exposed today, a night to forget. Smalling and Spina did all they could. Veretout was non existent. Diawara is our only quality midfielder at the moment, Fonseca has to turn to his bench and find solutions. Kluivert and Under did well imo, what happened wasn’t their fault. Peres and Perez looked good after coming on. Terrible result that could jeopardise our top 4 position. Fonseca has to get hold of this and not let things get out of hand.
@SaI' (Laziale - Lazio Merda) I hope you don't create a topic again. Roma had suffered a lot of bad luck !
Sassuolo are away to SPAL next week. I’d put my house on it they’ll lose and play absolutely nothing like tonight. I’ve never seen a team get so many lucky back heels / ball deflections in their favour. Every Sassuolo player playing like their life depended on it....oh Roma are in town - we better raise our game, they’ve done f u c k all at home against Inter, Lazio, Napoli etc this season. I hate tinpot opposition like this. I hope they end up in Serie B where the ultimately belong
Fonseca's post match press conference: I must admit that I was wrong about Roma not making vertical passes in the last match thread. We do plenty of them, towards Pau Lopez. I can admit when I'm wrong.

Roma captain Edin Dzeko expressed his frustration after a 4-2 defeat at Sassuolo. “We were not playing at Serie A level. Even a Roma playing well would probably have lost tonight because Sassuolo played so well. Some of their play was outstanding and the fourth goal world class. Sometimes you just have to compliment the opposition.
We made them look like Barcelona, no matter how much you praise Sassuolo there is still no excuses for that 1st half performance.
Pot kettle etc. His attitude like the rest was woeful to start this game. He scored a goal because the ball happened to go directly into his path and onto his head. Yes his effort is that bad. Followed up a few mins later with a miss of the season contender that could have turned the game in Roma's favour. When he is bad he is really bad and we have seen this song and dance from him before. Starts of the season really well, when its time to get stuck in and work hard during the season when teams start to really dig in and fight he disappears. We have nobody to replace him with but we do have someone for Pellegrini. If he doesnt start another game this season I would not complain.
If the central core of your team turn up thinking they're having a pleasant afternoon kick about in the park with friends then you have no chance.
Might have been tough, but Mancini was shambolic especially early on, with Cristante and Pellegrini pathetically bad all match.

Its almost like the people who were against his renewal said the exact same thing 7 months ago...crazy right? I have criticized him exactly ZERO times so far this season, but the Joker has returned.
