But I guess there have been weaker pk calls this season that weren't overruled because the VAR didn't think it was a "clear and obvious" mistake.
I think it was a pen tbh. I don't 5hink Kluivert dived, he ran towards the ball whilst the defender cut across him unintentionally
How was cheeky? He ran in a direct line to where he expected the ball to be, the defender backed into him and knocked him down impeding his ability to play the ball. He didn't mean to commit the foul but the outcome was the same.
It definitely wasn't a dive. I think it's a situation where you can call anything ranging from a foul from Kluivert to a goal kick to a pk.
We should be leading, but we aren't. Because the ref decided being denied a point blank scoring chance is not worth a penalty. And because we aren't able to finish enough other chances even when dominating....which is typical
It could be more understandable if the original decision wasn't a pen, its beyond me how he's overturned it
Ummm handball in the wall? Arm was against his body but he also raised it up and moved it into the ball's path.
Dzeko really has incredible aim to hit it dead center every time. That strategy doesn't work as well in the run of play as with PKs
