There has been 4 or 5 of those very sharp cut backs from the end line to the edge of the box. Something they have been working on it seems. If Pellegrini keeps hitting them there is also veretout and cristante for the balls to fall to. Not bad.
One thing Mou has never gotten enough credit for is his ability to elevate his attackers. Pellegrini has been immense under him so far. I want to see Zaniolo centrally, but it's hard to argue that Pellegrini should be playing anywhere else right now. He's a completely different player in the hole compared to playing deep.
1st half wasn't exactly easy on the eye at times but totally dominant throughout and we blew them away in the end, with some lovely goals. You got top 4 ambitions this is precisely what you need to be doing to these sides, consistently. Still content. Hope it continues after the break.

Dzeko who? Nice second half, some very decent combinations and a good play overall. Now the question is are we actually improved upfront or are Salernitana abysmally bad as a team. Hopefully a bit of both.
Mourinho is already having a good impact on a few players. That is awesome! The season unraveled last year when we kept winning in the Europa league and veretout popped his hamstring/quad. I don’t think it sounds like he will but I hope Jose considers heavily rotating the squad in these European games.
