Seems like all that was keeping us from total mediocrity all these years were some underappreciated players by some, called Francesco and Daniele.

With them gone, this team is just pathetic and no one is there to mop things up when the transfer policy has been shite for a while.

Must win game. Against Lecce. In December.
Seriously, at some point you have to win games.

The 'moral victory' period is over. Gotta knock out a series of actual victories this month.

It would be really funny if Lecce win this.

Lecce win, but it's still part of the big plan of making Roma a great team.

We should put more tariffs on Juve and Inter to fix the Roma economy.

I dont think results are going to improve dramatically in the league from here out, but they will improve. There are 72pts left to play for. I predict we'll average 1.5pts or very slightly better per game from here. So I predict we'll finish on 49 or 50pts worst case and 54-58pts absolute best case.

I'll stick my neck out and say I also predict a strong run in the Coppa and/or EL. It's a miserable time to be a fan, but there might be some light at the end of the tunnel yet.

We will continue to struggle for sure. No easy wins for us this season.

We should take this game as a warm up for next year having our league games over by Saturday evening against the likes of Lecce.

The current state of this team means the next three games are all 6 pointers, the Lecces & Comos of the league is where we are right now. The output from the team is exactly where we deserve to be, we are playing far below our ability and expectations. The Spurs game and not completely capitulating to Napoli & Atalanta shows Ranieri can achieve all 9 points available; the Braga game I'm optimistic about but the Sampdoria game not so much.

Very fortunate deflection off the defender, but that garbage goal could save us from relegation.

Figures, but there aren't many teams we can get more than a draw against.

People will shit on the FB once again for that goal and rightly so, but ignore the fact it was N'dicka's shite defending that led to that situation. I worry about his 'real' quality.

I cant fault Claudio. I appreciate what he's trying to do with this bunch at least.

Ya, on first viewing I wasn't sure who slid in and completely whiffed, but that put everybody else or of position and in scramble mode.

It will be nice to see Ranieri win his first game at home.....

If Roma had Kone last season they would be playing CL this year.

I missed the first half other than Lecce's pk but so far in the second, tactically, Ranieri seems to have Roma playing with a lot of confidence.

    Ouch!

Killer post from outside the box by Lecce.

    Good thing it's 4-1!
