Because then he can do a useless Ronaldo chop to put it on his right before crossing and look super cool.
He only has to interrupt the game if possession changes (didn't happen) or if him touching the ball leads to a dangerous attack (debatable).
Apart from Inter, we have played absolute crap teams. Forgive me, for not joining in the celebrations or the " Jesus is the new Cafu " BS. A few goals against crap does not change the dismal performances of 99% of the team this year. The only positive taken from this season, is that if the Serie B teams coming up are as rubbish as Brescia, Verona and Spal. We will probably finish in the top 15.
I prefer a left and right footed centrebacks to for balance but it's not the end of the world. Regards Spinazzola, it allows him to be unorthodox. He has learned to go to the touchline on his left but can also cut in at any time. Makes it harder for the defender to read. Look at the dangerous angles he gets from his crosses when he cuts in and floats them across. As long as you have Bruno on the opposite side who mainly goes wide it works.
In the past we struggled against crap teams - also, we played Inter's socks off, who at that point still had a chance in winning the Scudetto with Antonio Conte as coach.
I see it as a tumultuous season, that at its end, has found fluidity by adapting to the players at hand rather than forcing them into a role. I also think we found a good coach. Not to promote my writing but this was published the other day https://www.asroma.com/en/news/2020/7/opinion-fonseca-re-organises-his-troops-to-find-the-right-path

I honestly thought this season was going to be another reboot with no discernable progress like 11-13. Obviously with roster turnover looming, we could go backward, but this squad has been a pleasant surprise lately. Fonseca could've been forgiven for doing poorly under the circumstances, but this club is what it is at this point. Our coach needs to be comfortable being uncomfortable, and he has steered us in a positive direction.
Too little, too late. The team is so horrifically bad, that the " great " run of results is been celebrated. This shows alone how bad it has become. I do appreciate your link. However; after a few sentences, I relised it was just a propaganda piece to promote your " American Heroes " on their own propagandic site. I did not read on.
Yes, correct. The historical context was beyond ridiculous , so I immediately thought, this could only be the Pallotta propaganda show.
