I tuned in at the half, and while it might be overstating things a bit to say that McKennie has bossed the match this half, it's not much of an overstatement.
Caliguri did much more with that assist from McKennie than Sancho needed to do to convert Pulisic's cross yesterday. Kudos to both Caliguri and McKennie on that one.
Schalke as a team have played better. In the first half they couldn't hold possession and McKennie had to drop and help out with defense. 2nd half theyve been a lot better at advancing the ball which has allowed Weston to stay higher. He has been bossing. That was a great run for the assist
Decent work there by Wright. Couldn't really beat his man, but killed some time dribbling around in the corner.
I don’t think it was as easy of a finish as everyone is making it out to be. Ball arrived late and made for a tougher angle.
