Weston's inexperience showed on a few of those plays tonight. He did great to win the ball but chose the naïve option instead. The good news is those things will improve and Juve kept the clean sheet and moved on to the final. Additional note, Ronaldo should have put away that assist from Wes.
[QUOTE="usnroach, post: 39310479, member: 152076" Additional note, Ronaldo should have put away that assist from Wes.[/QUOTE] Exactly. That was one of the easiest chances for Ronaldo in his career, and he chose the wrong side of goal and wrong technique. He hits that 9 times out of 10. Then Wes would have notched an assist after being in the field for 1 minute.
2nd half has been a bit better from Juve against Napoli but as a Yank it's kind of cool to see how much Juve misses Wes on the field
Looks like the Napoli keeper just got shot by a sniper. Good play from Weston keeping possession in the buildup eventually led to a morata turn and fire and helluva reflex save.
Weston with an awesome long throw gets it into a dangerous area, Napoli clear it to Chiesa who fires desperately from 20 yards and misses by 10.
Gotta win this one. Crotone have last four straight and 7 of their last eight. Even with McKennie impersonating a left midfielder, dropping points in both Crotone matches would be unbecoming for a champions league squad.
Looks like Mckennie and Ramsety might be flipped vs. the lineup sheet, which I would support. Ramsey will be faking left midfield and McKennie playing alongside Betancur more centrally.
McKennie steal at the top of the box prevents a shot. Most of his stuff so far has been the simple, obvious pass.
