He did embarress Celtic with his runs down the wing when Motherwell beat you during the last match Parkhead_Faithful. I enjoyed it a lot because he pretty much did what he wanted on that side of the pitch.

What is with the Freedie Ljugnberg (sp.) hair do? He is much more of an open field player than Freddie although Freddie possess good skills. He can also finish but McFadden was amazing to watch that night. He owned whoever you right back was.

Ah well it was Joos valgaeren if i remember rightly and he usually plays on the left side of central defence, still a quality player, belgian international and that.

id be more worried about the rat tail hes got at the back than the ljungberg do on the top:D

I checked out the link, but what the heck does the number represent? This OPTA stuff is bizarre, yet surprisingly accurate.

I hate OPTA, they present numbers and no facts to my mind.
a player could realistically do nothing for 88 minutes in most matches and fluke a goal at the end and OPTA would make him out to be a hero.
According to them Tore Andre Flo was the best striker in scotland from the time of his move and we all know thats not true.
Thats where this thread is misleading too, young James is the most prolific dribbler in europe, doubt hes the best.

I hope McFadden goes to celtic, there I've said it ;)

Latapy, Miller, Laursen, Adamzcuk, Fernandez, Douglas, Agathe, Sylla, Andrews, half the Aberdeen team.

not exactly the kind of players I would rate besides Arteta, Larsson, Sutton, Amoruso, Ricksen, Lovenkrands, Petrov. Any player outside the old firm in the scottish league should be the first choice of celtic fooball club because I hate it when these guys ever since the late 90s come to rangers, they have nearly all ended in disaster.

No thanks, I think he likes beating up on both of the Bigoted Duo too much to go one of the squirm sides...

Nobody doubts McFadden's talent and potential to be a top class player but he MUST sort out his temperament. He was sent off today after 37 minutes for 2 yellow cards and has been booked 21 times in his Motherwell career, scoring 18.
